I am Laurie Heffernan-
Cioppa, the newest addition to the Heffernan Insurance Agency. With over 30
years of experience that began as an Claims Administrative Assistant in my
father’s Agency; I’ve worked as an insurance professional on both the company
and agency side of the business. After graduating from the University of Houston
and working in Texas as an Underwriting Trainee and Agency Producer, I moved
north to raise my 3 children. I re-entered the work force on the Company side,
but moved back to the Agency side very quickly in a National Accounts division.
Most recently I was the Director of the Small Business Unit for a large agency
in Ohio and handled several substantial National accounts throughout the
Midwest. I specialize in Construction and Technology Accounts and am working to
branch out to Winery Agriculture as well. I am currently working out of all
three Heffernan Insurance Inc. offices including our Home office in Galveston,
Johnson City and Austin Branches. I am very happy to be home in Texas after so
many years and look forward to working with you to solve all your insurance
problems.
